How it works

A clear process, step by step.

You will not be walking into the unknown. Here is exactly what to expect.

1

First contact

Reach out by phone, email or the enquiry form. We will respond within one business day and arrange a short, free call to understand your situation.

2

Private intake sessions

We meet separately with each party. This is your chance to explain things in your own words, ask questions, and decide whether to move forward. Everything stays confidential.

3

Agreement to mediate

If everyone is willing, we prepare a simple written agreement setting out how the mediation will run, what is confidential, and what happens next.

4

The mediation session

This is the main conversation, held in a quiet private space or via secure video online. Online sessions work just as well, and many people prefer them because they can join from home. Your mediator guides the discussion, keeps it respectful, and helps the parties explore what is needed. Breaks are built in.

5

Reaching agreement

When the parties land on a way forward, we help put it into clear, plain-English terms. You take away something practical you can both work with.

6

Follow-up (if needed)

A short check-in after a few weeks helps make sure the agreement is actually working in real life. Adjustments can be made if they are needed.

What if I am nervous about it?

Almost everyone is. That is completely normal.

Mediation does not mean you have to sit across a table from someone and argue your case. We can run the whole session online via video, or with parties in separate rooms, moving between you with questions, clarifications and offers. Many people find online sessions easier, because you are in your own space.

You can stop at any time. You can ask for a break at any time. You can bring a support person. The goal is a conversation you can actually manage, not a test you have to pass.
